We’ve seen so many incredible transformations the past weeks on Instagram. From stark black roots and with brassy mids to ends to the most seamless platinum blondes– we’ve gathered some our favorite formulas from recent transformations for you. This one is just incredible! The client had previous box color and was looking to be ashy blonde. The transformation was done by @jackmartincolorist with Olaplex. Jack let us in on how he approached this project.
“This was one of the hardest color corrections I have done because of the box color the client used at home. It took me about 6-7 hours to finish. Here’s the formula:
I bleached the dark roots 1/2 inch away from roots with wella blondor + 40 vol + Olaplex No.1. I then bleached the brassy area with wella blondor + 20 vol + Olaplex No.1, after 45 min, I bleached the roots with wella blondor + 30 vol + Olaplex No.1 for another 25 minutes until I reached level a 10 pale blonde.
Rinsed hair, dried, then I did low lights in foils with pravana 7.22 and zero lift developer, then on roots I did pravana 9.22 and on the rest of the hair I did pravana 10.07 with zero lift developer for a total of 45 minutes. Rinsed, then applied Olaplex No. 2 for 20 mins. Finally, I shampooed, cut layers, and styled.”

We’re always inspired by @glamhairbymarie. Detailed close ups like this one really show the power of bleaching with Olaplex. The final result looks healthy, strong, and gorgeously platinum.
Formula: Redken Flashlift + 30 vol + Olaplex No. 1 for about 45 minutes. Tone with Shades EQ 09v 09t 09P.
Wow! This transformation was from a level 7 to 11! The color was done by the talented @goddamneddavid. Davis went about this process by applying X.DREAM Highlifting Powder Plus + 20vol + Olaplex No. 1 to the entire head. It processed for 30 minutes with no heat, then reapplied (with the same formulation) to ensure global saturation. Process again with no heat for 30 minutes. Rinse. Tone using 11N/11NA + PQ 17 + Tone Lotion (1:1:2) + Olaplex No.1 for 15-20 mins. Shampoo and condition. Total time: 3 hours.
What would you do in this situation? This transformative color correction was quite the challenge, but nothing @alennmj couldn’t handle.
Formula: Two sessions in 3 moths, two different techniques! Color Correction and Babylights! Products: L’Oréal + Olaplex! 
Technique: ColorCorrection + Babylights Formula: Bleached with 30% and Olaplex Toned with Richesse 6 on the roots and 9vol (1:1) Middle color Richesse 8 + Clear and 9vol (1:1/2) Length Dialight Clear + 10.12 Dialight and 6vol (1:1/2)
Let’s end this formula haul on a dreamy note. This creamy color melt was done by @sheffpavelstylist with Olaplex every step of the way. He lightened with Pravana Pure Light + 40 vol +Olaplex No.1 for 50 minutes. Rinse and Dry. Toned with Redken Shades EQ: 09V + 09N + 09B + Clear + processing solution + Olaplex No.1 for 20 minutes! Rinsed and applied Olaplex No.2 for 10 minutes.
