As we moisturize more and protect our skin from winter weather, our hair needs the same care and adjustments. Transitioning your routine to winter care is simple, a little more moisture here, and some extra bond building there and you’re ready. Our winter hair care guide gives you every step you can take with OLAPLEX to ensure you greet the new year with exceptionally healthy, hydrated hair.
For damage: OLAPLEX Nº.0 + OLAPLEX Nº.3 Hair Perfector
This is where you start any routine. Your hair, at any point in time, whether comprised or healthy, will benefit from this. There is always room for improvement with healthy hair, especially in the winter! Start off by applying Nº.0 onto the hair as a primer until damp, then comb through to ensure coverage. If you have thick, curly hair, you can spray the hair down prior to priming it with Nº.0 to conserve product. Leave on for ten minutes, then apply Nº.3 directly on top, combing through to fully saturate. Leave on for ten minutes, then shampoo and if time allows, apply the Nº.8 or condition as usual, rinse and style.

Yes, your hair is thirsty. This is the time of year everyone’s mane gets a little rough around the edges because of the dryness and cold weather. Apply to damp hair, and comb through to ensure complete incorporation and saturation. Leave on for ten minutes, then rinse and style! This treatment is easy as can be for bond building and moisture all in one!
Protector against the elements: Nº.9 Bond Protector Nourishing Hair Serum
Remember what we were saying about cold weather? It’s not the best for your hair. Often the results are dry, brittle locks that can be expertly addressed with our Nº.9 serum. Apply to damp hair right before styling to protect the hair from environmental damage, heat up to 450ºF, and pollutants.
To protect while you style: Nº.6 Bond Smoother + Nº.7 Bonding Oil
Our favorite styling combination begins with a cocktail of OLAPLEX Nº.6 and Nº.7. Together, these products repair the hair internally while moisturizing, smoothing, adding shine, and protecting from heat up to 450ºF. Leave a Nº.7 handy for touch-ups throughout the day. A couple dabs of oil through your hair will keep it silky and repaired in between treatments.
