You Can Thrive with PCOS (Tallene)
Today's guest is Tallene Hacatoryan, a PCOS Weight Loss Registered Dietitian and strong believer that you don't have to live with PCOS; you can thrive! Tallen was diagnosed with PCOS at 18 and unsatisfied with the generally accepted belief that birth control is the only way to manage this diagnosis. She had many failed attempts at weight loss through excessive exercising and dieting and was frustrated. She decided to take an alternative option by studying nutrition science and is now a dietitian. In this conversation, we're going to get more information on exactly what PCOS is, the symptoms, and the effects of it, but how changing your diet and eliminating just a few things could completely change the way you feel about your body and your weight loss.
Beauty Uncovered is brought to you by Olaplex, which invites you to go beyond the surface with the only system that rebuilds broken hair bonds. You can find out more at Olaplex.com

QUOTES:
I feel like back when I was diagnosed with PCOS, I thought I was the only one with this syndrome. I was so intimidated by it. But, there's so many women with PCOS. You're not alone.
We should all try and deep dive into our health, try new things, and see what works for us. Don't give up on yourself. The body has an amazing ability to heal.
Inflammation, insulin resistance, adrenal fatigue, and hypothyroid are all categories for PCOS. To find what is driving your symptoms, you must know which ones you are struggling with.
You can live symptom-free if you find a lifestyle that's sustainable, that works for you, that makes you feel good, that you want to stick to and you can be totally fine.
Inflammation along with blood sugar issues is a recipe for insulin resistance, a driving factor of PCOS. Going gluten and dairy-free can really reduce those levels of inflammation.
